But soon after, the whole project fell apart. I found myself without support or funding, having refused to compromise my creative freedom. That movie script sat untouched on my laptop for months, until one day, I realized it wasn’t about me—it was about you. It was about choosing to bring Alex, Luna, and Zephyr to life or letting them fade away. The truth is, I didn’t have to decide; they called out to be written, to come alive.And that’s how Sunny Dusty Miles began its journey as a book. My own journey continued, too—through pages crafted, miles driven, and coastlines that cradled my moments of solitude. All the while, I could feel this bubble of magic growing, destined to burst. I didn’t know how and when it would happen, but I knew it was meant to spread its light to all of you.Like Alex, I’ve emerged changed; like Zephyr, I refused to play it safe; and like Luna, I did my best to become one with the magic itself. Their voices grew louder, almost overwhelming, as if they risked making me lose my mind. I can’t count the times they came to my dreams like uninvited guests! At the same time, I began to notice how all of this was manifesting, drawing people into my life who were incredibly aligned with this journey and its characters.It started to feel as though, while the story of Sunny Dusty Miles was unfolding between the pages, a parallel story was happening in my life. That was the first moment when the line between fiction and reality blurred—though, at that time, it blurred only for me. Turning Sunny Dusty Miles from a movie script into a book no longer felt like enough. I sensed there was something more—a deeper calling to show others what it truly means to blur that line.This realization led me to return to social media after six years away—a brief reentry destined to end soon but significant in marking, in the real world, what was unfolding within the book. In doing so, I began to simulate aspects of Sunny Dusty Miles across social media, practically mirroring fiction into reality. The journey of Sunny Dusty Miles would continue in real life, on the road, as if the road where the book was born was now becoming the bridge. This bridge, I knew, would connect the book’s epilogue to the continuation of the entire Sunny Dusty Miles adventure.Sunny Dusty Miles wasn’t written for those who revel in casting shadows over others. It’s not for those who choose judgment as their guide. This book exists for the ones who have suffered under the weight of that judgment. It’s for the dreamers who feel silenced, for those who long to rise but have been taught to fear their own light. Writing wasn’t part of my plan, nor was seeking validation or recognition. At the moment, it’s not even in my future plans. I’m not pursuing a career in it, nor do I intend to write again anytime soon. But life often calls us to create in ways we never expect. This is a work born purely from necessity—a spark ignited to bring warmth to those left in the cold.This book exists because it had to. It is a lifeline, a spark, a reminder that your light is still there, even if it's been dimmed by the world. From an unreleased movie script to a cinematic book, Sunny Dusty Miles was born out of rebellion—a choice to break every rule and rewrite what it means to create something true. I didn’t follow the "right" steps. I didn’t wait for permission. I refused to fit into molds set by others, and instead, I poured my heart into this in its rawest, most unpolished form. This isn’t about being perfect or polished—I never wanted it to be. It’s about being raw, real, and relentless.Despite those who tried to convince me to “do the right thing,” I held on to a single vision: if this had been a song, I’d have wanted it to be a raw, punk-rock anthem born in the dustiest garage—maybe even with some out-of-tune instruments—rather than a polished, top-ten commercial hit recorded in a multimillion-dollar studio. I broke every rule to bring Sunny Dusty Miles to life. I ignored the expectations, the "shoulds," and the invisible rulebook that tells us how things are supposed to be done.This book stands as proof that when you trust your inner voice, even in the face of noise and doubt, you create something that truly matters.
